I used Flower Power Basket of Daisies which is available here to purchase. I coloured her with my Prismacolor pencils and cut her out living the white border around using my scissors.  the papers used are from my scrap pile, die cut the leaves border and my FAV butterfly. Accent the card using some pink sequins for the right top corner.

Just a little note.... {Digital Delights}

Hello and Welcome to my blog!
Today I would like to share with you the Side Step Card tutorial I made as Hostess today for Digital Delights.

Here's the step by step for my Side step card:
First you will need:
  • One 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock
  • Scor Pal, or other scoring tool
  • Paper cutter
  • Summer Breeze digital paper pack and ribbon to decorate the card
Step 1:
Take your 5.5" x 8.5" cardstock and line up the short side of the cardstock at 3" in a paper cutter.

 Start at 1" and cut all the way to 6 1/2"

Step 2:
Score the 2 1/2" wide section of the card at 4 1/4" and then Score the 3" wide section at 1", 2", 3 1/4", 4 1/2" and 6 1/2".
Step 3:
Fold the score line at 4 1/4" down
Fold the first score line on the right hand side of the card down (mountain fold), fold the second fold up (valley fold) and keep going until you have something like this.

Then finish your card and decorate

and your card will be finished and ready to mail!
Have fun making your own....

Happy Spring! {Scrapy Land Challenge #40}

Welcome to a New Scrapy Land Challenge!!!

Our theme challenge is "Oh Happy Spring" + use any of the 40 brand dies that the store carries.
Here's my card for today's challenge:
Isn't this card perfect!
All papers used from my stash and used  Spellbinders Nestabilities Small Scallop and cut two pieces,  the Hibiscus image, piercing the border and cut out a scallop border to add to the top layer of the card. Added orange and yellow ribbon to accent it.  I love this Hibiscus image and will make this same layout card but using different colors.

Happy Birthday {Dies R Us}

Hello and Welcome to my blog!
Today I would like to share a Inspirational card I made for a friend who's birthday is coming up.  I was so excited with all of my new dies and did not know which one to use so I choose to use my new Chandra Stem die from Memory Box to make my card.

 I die cut the Chandra Stem twice on the top white layer without pulling it out of the layer, I used scrap papers from the clutter on my desk. Add the ribbon, yellow sequins and the clear rhinestones.
I love the outcome of this cute and simple Birthday card!

Please be sure to take a minute and check out all the fabulous dies available at the Dies R Us Store!  AND, don't forget we have a Dies R Us Challenge Blog too!  A fun new challenge is offered on the 1st and 15th of each month with a PRIZE VOUCHER offered to one lucky winner each challenge.  It could be YOU!
